How to create a Package
Packages are a collection of programs built on Daily Triggers (acquisitions and/or automated external suppressions) that are set up so they can run in a certain order. This allows you to prioritize the sequence of acquisitions to ensure that duplicate records are not sent on the same day from different programs.
For example, you have two Auto Order acquisitions: one for retention and one for acquisition. You will likely want the retention program to run first, be available for suppression and then have the acquisition program suppress against the retention program so they don’t receive duplicate records.
Another example is that you have an automated external suppression that is loaded every day. You may also have a program that you would like to run after the external suppression is loaded. Packages will handle this scenario as well.
Step 1 Create a Package
From the Home page, click the Packages tab

- Click the blue Create button
- Click the New Package link

Step 2 Package Summary
- Type the name you want assigned to the Package
- Click the drop down arrow under Program to select the ITMA, Acquisition you would like to be included in this Package. The Program drop down is populated with programs that are based upon Daily Triggers, have Auto Order set up and ARE NOT a part of another package. For example, all grayed out programs are currently associated with another package so they are not eligible to be associated with this new package
- Click the Add button to create the first group
- You may also select Automated Suppressions to be included in the group.

- Once the user has selected two or more subscriptions/suppressions they are able to drag and drop to reorder the program properly.
- Once all programs and suppressions are selected and arranged in the order you would like them to run, click the Save button

Step 3
The page will refresh and display the view of the Package you just created.
- The Package Summary now displays the id number of the Package, the Name and Status of Ready.
- The Package Order is also displayed.
- You may click the Action button to Edit the Package you just created or you may leave the page and continue building Audiences.
