Select Roof Top Radius

Intelidata Express has the ability to select data based on a radius surrounding an actual location from the street address. With street-level, or "rooftop," radius selection, you only get the addresses falling within the selected radius. This is critical when the selection area is very small or when there are penalties for mailing to the "wrong" area.

Roof Top Radius may not be used with other geography types at the global level.  When uploading addresses without latitude/longitude values, the system will search fro latitude/longitude values based on Zip9 precision.  This is commonly referred to as the block level.  Any addresses that do not meet this precision will be removed from your list.

Step 1 Global Criteria page

When building your audience, you have the option to select Roof Top Radius in Global Geography.

  1. To use this option, on the Global Criteria page, scroll to the Roof Top Radius input field.
  2. Click the blue View Instructions link to review the Instructions for this process and to download the template you will use to copy/paste your addresses in Intelidata Express.

  • Please ensure that all entries in a single column are of the same data type. For example, all Segment_Name values should be either all numbers or all text. Mixing the two will cause the process to error.
