Recreate an Audience from the Activities page

Recreating an Audience is the same as rebuilding search. There are two basic types of audiences available in Intelidata Express - credit and non-credit. Data for Credit Audiences are based upon prescreen marketing data. Examples of credit Audiences include Mortgage Mart and Triggers. Non-credit Audience data comes from public record property and consumer sources. Examples of non-credit Audiences include Homeowner and Demographic Marts.

Please note, if your Audience uses a Market Area and you edit that Market Area, when you rebuild the Audience, the Market Area will not be updated.  If you want to use the updated Market Area, you must re-select the Market Area in the Global Geography section first.

Step 1 Select the Audience

You may rebuild an existing Audience from the Activities page. Locate the audience you want to rebuild by using the Quick Search or filters.

  1. Hover your mouse over the status of the specific audience you want to rebuild. A gear icon will be displayed.
  2. Click the gear icon and a drop down menu with two options will be displayed: View Audience and Rebuild Audience. Click Rebuild Audience.

The page refreshes to display the Review & Run page with the new ID of the audience. 

  1. From this page, you have the option to rebuild the audience exactly as you first created it by clicking the Build Audience button
  2. To edit the Global Criteria, click  the blue Edit Global button and you will be taken to the Global Criteria page.  Please note, if your Audience uses a Market Area and you edit that Market Area, when you rebuild the Audience, the Market Area will not be updated.  If you want to use the updated Market Area, you must re-select the Market Area in the Global Geography section first.  
  3. To edit or add to the Levels you previously defined, click the Edit Levels button and you will be taken to the Define Levels page.
  4. To edit the Name of the Audience, the sup[pliers or usage, click the Pencil icon.  You will be taken to the Create Audience page.

The page refreshes to display the Audience Summary of your recreated audience.

  1. Select the usage type(s) for this audience.
  2. Select the records for this audience.
  3. Click the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page.

From this point, you have the option to rebuild this audience with different criteria, you may place an order for this data or you may exit the system.
